A Very Special Birthday

Last weekend Rich and I spent an awesome weekend in LA for my good friends Lyndsy and Elon’s wedding - which also happened to be my birthday (double the fun!) The wedding was nothing short of FABULOUS! I was super excited since it was my first wedding since getting engaged and it definitely lived up to all my expectations.

First of all, Lyndsy and Elon are such a wild, fun couple and their personalities really shined through all the details of the wedding. Yellow is also Lyndsy’s favorite color so I of course adored the darling yellow bridesmaid dresses with bright pink sashes. And speaking of bright pink – Lyndsy rocked a killer pair of hot pink Stuart Weitzman heels under her gorgeous wedding dress.

Both the bride and groom looked absolutely stunning. Lyndsy was drop dead gorgeous from the shoes to the dress and even her stunning earrings that she already offered up as my something borrowed (yes please!). And Elon was stylin in his suit, yellow striped tie and pink argyle socks all of which only Elon could pull off.

The ceremony and reception were both held outdoors at Ranch Del Cielo in Malibu. It was such a great venue with breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean. Lyndsy decorated with white lanterns, sheer yellow table runners and floral centerpieces complete with lemon slices in the vases.

Their photographer was the lovely and talented Natalie Moser who will also be shooting our wedding (so excited!) and it was so great to see her and have the chance to hang out with her a little while she was in action. Natalie posted a little teaser of the wedding on her blog. (www.nataliemoserblog.com) The few shots I have seen are incredible and I’m dying to see the rest of them.

It was such a great weekend filled with lots of love and laughs and I’m so honored to have been a part of this couples special day. Thank you both for making it a very, very special birthday!
