WELCOME TO Exquisite Weddings by San Diego Magazine. As editor, it has been my pleasure to bring a vision of luxurious wedding to these pages.

Our feature stories offer tips on how lighting can create the mood for romance during your reception, and how you can make your rehearsal dinner as unique and memorable as your wedding itself.

For our fashion pages, check out our hot menswear at cool Tower 23 and JRDN. The über-hip Ivy Hotel is the setting for our fabulous gowns, and bridesmaids bloom in the garden magic of Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa.

We profile real weddings, with an eye to telling you about the experts who have helped create these incredible celebrations. In the spirit of understanding that love sometimes comes around more than once, we also offer our section on encore weddings. And we are proud to present commitment ceremonies, profiling San Diego couples and the ways they made their celebrations as special as their relationships.

In Voyages, we’ve created a travel section dedicated to providing information on the finest in destination weddings and honeymoon locations. Kleon Howe, celebrated expert from The Art of Travel, gives us his insights on why, in this age of the Internet, an experienced agent is still vital for a flawless honeymoon.

We call our last page Ever After, and it’s dedicated to the stories of couples who have demonstrated the true spirit of marriage by persevering through life’s challenges.
